About the Project
Taste of the Tri-Cities is an annual food festival that celebrates local restaurants across Coquitlam, Port Moody, and Port Coquitlam. Organized by the Tri-Cities Chamber of Commerce and community partners, the event encourages residents to explore and support local dining by offering exclusive seasonal deals.
My Role
I contributed to the festival’s promotion by supporting content production, business coordination, and digital engagement. My focus was on helping participating restaurants gain visibility through social media and web presence.
What I Did
- Edited and formatted Instagram Reels for MCN collaboration
- Created social media graphics to highlight offers and boost public awareness
- Updated website content, including restaurant listings, menu links, and photos
- Distributed flyers and reached out to local restaurants to confirm participation
- Supported on-site coordination at the Launch Party, assisting with event setup and vendor communication
- Maintained consistency in branding and messaging across platforms
